In order to make sure you are living a life of value, and a life that you desire, it can be helpful to re-evaluate your vision and get the perspective of someone, like a therapist, who is able to be objective.

Each and every person is unique in the way that they interpret themselves and the way they see the world. Therapy is not “one size fits all” and this process looks different for everyone. So, I encourage you to find a therapist that is a good fit for your needs, and remember that you get to choose your therapist. I believe that no one knows the client better than themselves and no one client is the same. Therefore, my practice is person-centered, growth-oriented, and tailored to each client's unique needs.

my aim

To give you the opportunity to explore the essence of who you are and create a life of deeper meaning with a richer and more understandable internal world.

To me, nothing creates more value than evoking positive change within individuals that feel like they are stuck and can’t move forward.

What is Counseling?

Has anyone ever told you that it’s okay to see a therapist? Yes, it is okay to see a therapist. Read that again.

1 in 5 Americans will experience mental illness in their life, so the chances are someone you know or care about may need help. When our stomachs hurt, when we break our arms, or if we get sick, we go to the doctor. With the brain as the most important organ in the body, it should be no different. When we are feeling unstable or “not ourselves”, we must do something in order to feel more centered or grounded. Counseling is a profession that focuses on making human experience constructive, meaningful, and enjoyable, both on a preventive and a remedial level.

My Approach

Did you know that more has been discovered about our minds in the last 20 years than in the past 2000?

It is an exciting time for mental health researchers & studies show that a significant amount of all mental, physical, & behavioral illnesses comes from one’s own thought life. Counseling can help by clarifying thinking, finding solutions for issues, & identifying strategies & tools that will be helpful for you in your life while acknowledging & validating feelings.
